Winter Wetsuits

Mens Winter Wetsuits

Mens Winter Wetsuits are crucial if you surf cold waters, a good winter wetsuit will keep you warm and in the water for longer. The most important thing to consider when choosing your wetsuit is the size and thickness that you require. In terms of thickness they are generally either 4mm or 5mm, but if you are going to surf in the UK in winter months then a 5mm will be the best option. We stock winter wetsuits for men, women and children and hold the very best brands such as O Neill, Rip Curl, C Skins, Billabong and Xcel. We do a video product review on every wetsuit so you can see all the features and we can explain how they all work.

In terms of pricing we search to ensure that you are getting the best deals online but if you do see the suit cheaper anywhere else then we promise to match that price for you. If you are unsure on any aspect of your purchase please contact us for friendly advice.

Why Buy Your Winter Wetsuit At Sorted Surf Shop?

We understand the importance of staying warm in the winter months so you can enjoy your chosen water sport. This is why we have invested in one of the largest ranges and stock of suit in the UK & Europe. As technology has progressed from the early days of the first wetsuit made by Jack O'Neill in Santa Cruz, it now means we can all enjoy even the coldest of waters. A winter wetsuit is made from a thickness of either 4mm, 5mm or 6mm neoprene. This ensures that your body retains it's heat and you are happy in the water. The really good thing over the past few years in that even though a winter suit is thicker the materials used are so flexible that it now feels like you are wearing a summer suit. The only choice you need to make is to go fro a chest zip or back zip suit. The major benefits of the chest zip version is that when you are in the water you have no restriction across your back giving you complete freedom of movement. If you are new to water sports a back zip makes it very easy to get on and off so you are not struggling in the car park.

In terms of which sports you can use the wetsuits, it is pretty much the case that all suits are multi purpose so can be used for surfing, kitesurfing, jet skiing and much more. If you are unsure of how much to spend then it comes down to the more money you do spend the more flexible the suit will be and generally the warmer as it will have additional thermal linings.
