The Mutant benefits from the detachable hood system that means it can be worn as a hooded or non hooded suit. The reason for this is because on days when it is really cold they can attach the hood to the suit which will not only prevent heat escaping from there head but minimise any water entry into the suit. On warmer days they have the flexibility to have to suit without the hood giving better freedom of movement so effectively the have two suits in one.
