Engineered using advanced finite element technology - first introduced in the Impulse and Sprint models - the Maui features an innovative dual-material blade construction. Two rigid lateral wings channel water toward the centre of the blade, where a softer, more elastic material enhances flexibility. This combination creates a natural “spoon effect” during each kick, maximising thrust while minimising effort.
Comfort and adjustability are central to the design. The fin can be worn barefoot or with light socks, and the fabric-covered EBS (Elastic Bungee System) strap helps prevent wear and deterioration of elastic components. The soft, anatomical rubber heel pocket ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while the integrated grab handle wraps neatly around the ankle to reduce drag and prevent chafing. A cleat system on the elastic strap allows precise micro-adjustments, enabling users to fine-tune the fit depending on footwear or personal preference.
