The new Cressi swimming suit is inspired by the underwater Caldera Kuwae, located in the Vanuatu Archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean. The fluorescent colour of the upper part of the wetsuit recalls the lava of the volcanic eruption, as does the truly explosive design. This particular colour was also chosen to give the swimmer maximum visibility when in open water.

Kuwae has been entirely designed with the help of sophisticated 3D software for the modelling of wetsuits, which made it possible to study the fitting of the materials and the different sizes on virtual mannequins. In this way, Cressi not only facilitates an innovative approach to research and development but also obtains a positive environmental impact by eliminating unnecessary sample collections.

Kuwae is the ideal swimming wetsuit in water temperatures between 18°c and 26°c. The 2.0 mm high-density hyper-stretch neoprene optimizes comfort, provides UV protection, and protects swimmers against scratches while ensuring complete freedom of movement. The smooth exterior finish and the glide skin XT waterproof treatment guarantee exceptional hydrodynamics.

The new low neckline design has been studied to avoid any friction around the neck while maintaining a perfect seal against water infiltration. On the inner part of the under-zip panel, you can customize the wetsuit with your name and stash a key for any means of transport in the special pocket. The YKK back zip guarantees tightness and durability over time: the slider is made of anti-corrosion metal material, to ensure greater sturdiness when pulling the lanyard to zip/unzip the wetsuit.
