Jim Banks is a true surfing legend. A top surfer in the late 70s and early 80s, Jim chose exploration over competition, venturing to Indo and discovering iconic waves. His lifelong passion for surfboard shaping began as a young boy, attempting to reshape his dad’s damaged board. By the mid-80s, he was one of the youngest recognised shapers, crafting boards for rising stars like Mark 'Occy' Occhilupo. Today, Jim’s deep knowledge and experience are reflected in his beautifully crafted, high-performance surfboards, blending timeless design with modern functionality.
