The blu_smooth MK2 is the exciting latest addition to the Blu Smooth wetsuit range. It shares the same simple yet innovative design as the MK1, but is constructed entirely of Yamamoto #39 Smoothskin neoprene with SCS coating.

The additional flexibility and increased buoyancy of the Yamamoto #39 neoprene further enhances the already well received design features of our wetsuits. Exceptionally flexible, buoyant and comfortable the MK2 is the most comfortable and affordable suit in it’s class.

Buoyancy is the key to why you will swim faster in a wetsuit. Forget about ‘go faster stripes’; channels; ‘body positioning panels’ and other marketing ploys. Buoyancy is the key. Increased buoyancy puts you body in a more ideal, elevated position in the water. As a result you swim easier and faster.

A buoyancy of a swimming wetsuit is largely dictated by it’s chest, abdomen and leg panels. Official triathlon competitions allow a maximum thickness of 5mm. This is the exact thickness of the MK2 wetsuit. Don’t settle for anything less…thinner is slower!

Flexibility
