Buoyancy
Buoyancy is the reason why you will swim faster in a wetsuit. Forget about all the marketing ploys out there. Buoyancy is the key. Increased buoyancy puts your body in a more ideal, elevated position in the water resulting in less drag.
Official triathlon competitions allow a maximum thickness of 5mm. The MK1 has a large 5mm chest/abdomen and front thigh panel which gives you the maximum buoyancy you require. Don’t settle for anything thinner!
Flexibility
The flexibility of a swimming wetsuit is vital to its performance. The simple yet innovative design of the MK1 eliminates unnecessary panels around the neck and shoulder area.
The flexible 2mm underarm gusset and arm panels significantly eliminate restriction on the arm reach when swimming.
The common issue of shoulder fatigue often associated with sleeved wetsuits is effectively eliminated.. The super-stretch inner lining of the wetsuit aids it’s impressive flexibility.
Warmth and Comfort
Swimmers will remain both warm and comfortable in the MK1 wetsuit.
Quality construction; Yamamoto fabric; stitched and glued seams; a smooth super-stretch inner lining; a low cut collar and a ‘hidden’ zip all ensure a warm and comfortable MK1 swimming experience.
