CJB's Surf Co was founded in 1997 by Carey John Brown. The vision was to create a surf hardware wholesale company that was pure to the roots of surfing.

Carey's start in the UK surf industry was not at all glamorous, it was making wetsuits in the late 60's with his Uncle Dennis in a garden shed ñ this was the beginning of Europe's first wetsuit brand. This lead on to the creation of Europe's largest wetsuit manufacturing base. Carey's passion is firmly placed in wetsuits and all things associated with the sport of surfing.
